The Institute for Women in Puerto Rico is dedicated to empowering women who are facing challenges and disadvantages in their lives. Our mission is to provide comprehensive support through professional development, family integration, and health and life programs. We place a strong emphasis on addressing the critical issues of domestic violence and poverty, ensuring that women and girls in Puerto Rico have the resources and support they need to thrive. Together, we strive to create a more equitable and supportive environment for all women in our community.
Professional Development:

Nuestra misión es apoyar y empoderar a las mujeres en Puerto Rico que enfrentan entornos desafiantes o que están en situación de necesidad. A través del desarrollo profesional, la integración familiar, los programas de vida y salud, y la defensa de los niños puertorriqueños, buscamos elevar a las mujeres, luchar contra la violencia doméstica y reducir la pobreza, fomentando una sociedad donde las mujeres puedan prosperar sin importar sus circunstancias.
